Book of Gods (Big Time Gaming) Introduction

Book of Gods is a video slot by Big Time Gaming with 5 reels, 3 rows, 243 paylines and a 96,35% RTP. It is playable on all devices from €0.10 to €40. The theme is related to ancient Egypt but with a fantasy twist to it. The backdrop displays what appears to be the river Niles and the pyramides of Giza on a sunny day, but could very well be an alternative dimension.

The game includes the Feature Drop option and Symbol Cloning. It appears to be Big Time Gaming's take on the classic "Book" type of slots.

The slot has six low-value symbols represented by A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9. The premium symbols are represented by four different God's - Goddess of the Afterlife (Purple), God of the Sun (Red), God of the Moon (Blue) and Goddess of the Earth (Green), with the top symbol awarding a 20x win for 5 of a kind in the main game.

The Wild is a Wild/Scatter combined symbol and 3 or more wild/scatter symbols anywhere on the reels trigger the free spins. If you don't want to wait for the scatters to land, the Feature Drop is included yet again, this time at a cost of 80x. Just like a normal bonus trigger, the Feature Drop can give up to 5 scatter symbols.

Book of Gods (Big Time Gaming) Symbol Cloning

In the main game, during every spin, 9, 10, J, Q, K or A will be revealed as the Cloning Symbol. After any wins are paid all instances of the Cloning Symbol are cloned to fill the reels where they occur.

Book of Gods (Big Time Gaming) Free Spins

Any 3 or more Wild / Scatter symbols trigger the Free Spins. 3, 4 or 5 Scatters appearing in any reel award 15, 20 or 25 free spins respectively.

At the start of the Free Spins the Book of Gods appears and reveals a God which becomes the Cloning Symbol for the duration of the Free Spins. Any 3 or more Wild / Scatter symbols retrigger the Free Spins. An additional God is revealed as a Cloning Symbol and more free spins are rewarded.

After three retriggers all Gods are active and any subsequent retriggers award additional free spins only. The free spins can be re-triggered an unlimited number of times.

Book of Gods (Big Time Gaming) - Conclusion

This is good news for those of us who are fans of the classic "Book" slots such as Book of Ra and Book of Dead. If Big Time Gaming's Queen of Riches is considered to be Twin Spin on crack, then this surely is Book of Ra on rocket fuel! In Book of Gods, BTG has actually combined some of the best features from games such as Book of Ra (expanding symbols) and Magic Mirror Deluxe (retriggers with additional expanding symbols), as well as using 243 paylines instead of only 10 as is the case on the classic Book slots.

There is of course huge potential in this game which is concentrated to the bonus and where a full screen of the Goddess of the Afterlife pays 4860x. Not quite as much as a full screen of explorers on Book of Ra (5000x), but still massive potential. This game really is all or nothing however and with all the potential being crammed into the bonus the main game does get a bit slow.

We are huge fans of Big Time Gaming and love how they have completely single-handedly changed the iGaming industry. We are actually even more hyped about this one than we were for Bonanza 2 as it stands out a bit more from anything tried before by the company.

Fair

Book of Gods many be pretty to look at, but a game that fails to live up to the hype.
