If a red ball is drawn you crash and lose your winnings. But draw the gold ball and you get a shield that not only protects you from the next red ball but can also increase the payouts on the paytable. For each drawn green ball, you can decide to Continue, Take Half or Take All.
Climb to the top of the paytable ladder and you can win up to 18000x – and up to 50,000x if you’ve drawn the gold ball. The gold ball also triggers a Bonus Round, where decisions are skipped (since you are shielded from crashing). The game is set in a blimp that cruises over a bustling metropolis. The main feature in the blimp is the ball drawing machine, filled with lots of green balls, a few red balls, and one gold ball. As long as a green ball is drawn, the blimp will rise higher and higher, and you will climb the payout table at the same time.
After each drawn green ball you’re asked if you want to continue the game, take all of your winnings, or take half of your winnings and continue playing the game with the remaining half. If you draw a red ball this will end the game and cause the blimp to crash. However, drawing the gold ball gives you a shield and protects you from the next red ball, thus accelerating the journey upwards as long as green balls are drawn!
Making your decisions
Each time a green ball is drawn, you make one of the following decisions:
- Continue: Stay in the game and continue to play with 100% of your potential winnings
- Take half: Cash out 50% of your potential winnings and continue to play the game round with the remaining 50%
- Take all: Cash out all of your winnings and end your participation in this game round. You no longer take part in the game until the next game round begins. The game ends when a red ball is drawn unless you have an active shield. The gold ball gives you a shield, protecting you from a crash when a red ball is drawn. The shield breaks when a red ball is drawn, and after the next green ball, the payouts on the paytable are increased. Cashed-out winnings are paid out at the end of the game round. If you choose TAKE HALF multiple times, your cashed-out winnings are added to your total winnings.
The Paytable
Central to the Cash or Crash game is a 20-step, ladder-style paytable. The further you progress in the game, the higher you climb up the paytable and the greater the payouts. Each green ball takes you up one step.
